Jimmy
Jimmy graduated from the dental assisting program of Northern Virginia Community College in 2012. During his time as a student, he interned for Dr. Rick Jackomis and transitioned to a full-time position in the office upon graduation.
Since joining the team, Jimmy has had an ever-expanding role in the office. He initially started as a chairside assistant and laboratory technician. He discovered his love of photography, and he added office photographer to his duties and responsibilities. His next role was to assume front desk administration, a role he has been serving in for over a year and a half. Many people have gotten to know him in this capacity as he has managed their scheduling, insurance and finances. His next transition is ongoing and into a wider business management role.
Jimmy enjoys new challenges and looks for ways to improve his knowledge base — traits that have made him an essential member of “Team Jackomis.” He attends continuing education events to learn new technology, procedures and techniques. He also uses his bilingual background to facilitate treatment for our Hispanic patients. His greatest satisfaction is interacting with patients to show them the differences in their mouth before and after treatment.
Outside of the office, Jimmy focuses on his family, is active with his church and participates in numerous sports. He feels most relaxed and at ease while traveling with his wife as they discover new areas of the U.S. and countries abroad.
