Dr Jackomis is extremely thorough and takes great pride in actually creating his own crowns on-site. The 3D imaging and lathe he has to map and create crowns are state of the art. I watched the he entire process from mapping the ground tooth to the creation of the crown. Amazing! And the crown color is spot on. His assistant has a good eye for the tooth color choice as well.

Rick has done an excellent job working on and fixing my daughters snapped off front tooth. He did a root canal and is currently working on a crown for her. My wife is going to Rick now for some dentistry work that she started a long time ago and has not finished with another dentist. Dr. Rick Jackomis is the TOP BEST dentist I have ever had in my whole 72 years. He is a very friendly and warm welcoming person who always greets everybody and me. What’s the most impression about his skill is that he made an artificial real-looking and perfect tooth for an individual MD bridge and put it in the place of my missing front tooth. I had a crown done poorly by a previous dentist- he set up a treatment plan, Jimmy made scheduling appointments easy, & Dr. J went above & beyond to make sure it was the perfect fit (even coming in after hours to adjust the bite before I went on vacation). My crown looks/feels fantastic, & his treatment solved months of sensitivity and jaw pain. His transparency about the process and excitement for the latest technology & how it enhances his craft is truly wonderful— and he has an excellent sense of humor to boot. I moved to Philly temporarily but will still be commuting back to see Dr. J. If you need a dentist who not only does amazing work but also truly cares for their patients, look no further!

His practice truly has the latest and greatest dental technology and equipment (including a Cerec machine for crown prep, the Solea laser used to fill cavities without the need for an anesthetic, digital scanners for the development of painless and convenient impressions, and more). Dr. Jackomis places great emphasis on keeping his knowledge and practice up to date as the field of dentistry evolves over time. Last year my 86 year old mom went to see Rick after moving to NOVA and her only complaint is that she wishes Rick had been her dentist for the past 30 years at least! He was beyond patient with my mom, letting her know exactly what he was going to do BEFORE he did it and talked with her during the process to calm her nerves. I and my family have been Dr. Jakomis' patients for close to 15 years. I have always felt he is a GREAT dentist - He spends the time to answer your questions when you have an issue. Once he didn't know an answer, but contacted some of his colleagues to give me the most up-to-date information on my dental condition. He is available for emergency conditions when needed. His staff including Elsie and Jimmy have worked there for years and are very knowledgeable and kind. I have moved away from Northern Virginia - now living in Maryland. I still drive over one hour (with that horrible Beltway traffic) just to continue to see him. That's how great of a dentist he is!

I am so pleased with Dr. Jackomis. I took my 8 year old daughter in who needed 2 two molars pulled. She was very nervous about getting the a needle to numb the area. She did not feel a thing. He also called later that evening to check on her. She did not even know he used a needle. It was our first visit there and it will not be our last.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jackomis for many years and never had a negative experience. His chair side manner is professional, he is very pleasant, and most important, his dental equipment and technical skills seem to be a decade ahead of everyone else's. Example - dental lasers came out years ago but had poor results. The current version, which Dr. Jackomis uses, will "drill" a cavity with no need for novocain because there is no discomfort. After years of tooth grinding, all of my teeth needed to be rebuilt. Dr. Jackomis performed major crown and veneer work which has held up beautifully and still receives compliments a decade later. Dr. Jackomis considers numerous options if major dental work is needed. If one of the options is expensive, he will look at the other options first to see if one of them will work just as well. Dr. Jackomis is an excellent and “ahead of the pack” medical professional. You can absolutely trust him with your dental work.

This guy does awesome work! He replaced an old filling for me today using laser technology to remove the old filling, and he had me out of the chair in no time. The office is comfortable, the staff is friendly, and I just made an appointment for my 8-year-old in a few weeks. Great dentist!

I haven't been to the dentist in 11 years due to past trauma and depression. After reading other reviews, I decided to bite the bullet and book an appointment at this clinic. When I first walked in, the atmosphere was super friendly and welcoming. Everyone seemed to be chatting in the lobby and laughing. The other great thing about this clinic is that, at least to where I went, the room was open and not closed off and it felt more safe. Atmosphere aside, Jessica and Rick were very kind to me. I'm booking my husband here, and won't be going elsewhere. Amazing clinic.

My experience with Dr. Jackomis today was great. He used all the latest technology and techniques to repair my wife's cavity. He put us at ease instantly with his friendly manner. Dr. Jackomis also explained everything he was doing very thoroughly along the way. Additionally, he made sure he could repair the tooth before deciding to pull it or do a painful and costly root canal. He has a great combination of being an early adopter of modern dental techniques, having lots of experience, and having an easy-going manner. We'll certainly be going back to see Dr. Jackomis.

Pre-op appointment for implants. Thorough cleaning and two restorations done without much Ado. Answered all questions in language a layman could understand, then explained the dentist speak. I've been with Rick for 14 years, and even returned from overseas to have the implants. Gotta go where the skill and trust are.

I AM A RAVING FAN!! Are you petrified of the dentist like I was? Then do yourself the best favor you can and see Dr Jackomis! I likely hadn’t been to the dentist, let alone stepped in one’s office, for about 15 years prior to visiting and meeting Dr Jackomis. Now, I have been a patient for over six years, who is repeatedly in for routine maintenance, and not only have I conquered my main fear but, have successfully completed many dental procedures that were incredibly important to my health. All of these milestones were possible due to the diligence and absolute genuine care that Dr. Jackomis and his staff have for each and every patient. I am telling you, just reach out and call! My first time to the office was to simply have a cup of coffee with Dr. Jackomis. He took the time to get to know me, answered any questions I had about techniques, his education, why he became a dentist. I shared with him my fears and reluctancy as well. At that point, Dr. Jackomis had one goal...to ultimately make me to feel comfortable walking through the office door. Since then I’ve had cleanings, cavities filled, tooth extractions, bone graphs, dental implants and everyone’s fav...root canals. Guess what...with NO PAIN! Say what?!?? Staff, beginning with Jimmy meeting me in the parking lot to make sure that.I arrived at the correct location to some of his patients, I found the environment and personality of the practice very welcoming. Application of a laser was new to me. but not having to be stuck with a needle and having to deal with the effects of lidocaine was wonderful. Rick is a great dentist. I have seen him for a cleaning and some fillings now. He is honest, helpful, and does great work. I’m so thankful to have been referred to him. I trust him and his opinions. He makes going to the densit as painless as it can possibly be. He has nice financial options for people without insurance as well.
